The Binghamton area is fortunate to have many facilities available to enjoy outside activities. Greenwood Park and Nathanial Cole Park both have large lakes and allow for boating and swimming.  Greenwood also has a substantial campground set within beautiful surroundings.  Other parks include Ostiningo, which has a lengthy walking trail near the river, and Hickories Park in nearby Owego, NY, which also has a campground and beautiful scenery near the river.  This is in addition to the numerous smaller parks scattered around the area which feature picnic areas, scenic views and restful areas just to stop and take a break for a while.

Golfing is a sport that can be readily enjoyed in the area with  Endwell Greens within easy access from Binghamton.  Also check out the golfing at Traditions at the Glen, a beautiful setting in Johnson City.
