People watching is so easy to do in Phoenix. A new favorite place to do this is Tempe Marketplace, located at McClintock and loop 202. It's an outdoor shopping and entertainment destination. There are stores like G by Guess, The Gap and Barnes & Noble. A few of the restaurants have outdoor seating and there's even a stage for live music which is going on almost every night. Stop by every third thursday too for a free concert-hopefully that goes on forever! They have set up plenty of places to sit and watch your surroundings, including couches near fireplaces, it's so cozy in the winter.
