Anaheim has so many places for entertainment.  There is always something going on at the "POND" - either a sports event, concert or ice show.  Then for theatre there is the Orange County Center for the Performing Arts that has top names (ie - David Copperfield) and Broadway type shows(ie - My Fair Lady with Richard Chamberlain and Jesus Christ Superstar).  For smaller shows there the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts and nearby in Long Beach is their Performing Arts Center.  If you happen to be there during the Orange County Fair they have everything from your typical animal shows to magic shows to top names - Gary Puckett, Bobby Sherman, Davy Jones and Peter Noone for example.  Since everything is spread out in Southern Cailfornia you should always have a car. In Hollywood there is Disney's El Capitan Theatre and the Pantages both on Hollywood Blvd.  and in downtown Los Angeles there's the Ahmanson Theatre and Dorothy Chandler Pavillion.
