There are so many great cheap restaurants in Sydney that one could continually just eat out every night of the week. This makes Sydney a fabulous experience tasting the variety of cuisines. You do not have to walk far to find a cheap restaurant hugging a street corner.
There are certain suburbs in Sydney that contain rows and rows of restaurants such as:
Newtown: Walk down Kings Street and you will find every cuisine in the world here, all offering good cheap food.
Balmain: Another interesting suburb where cafes, restaurants and pubs line Darling Street with a mixture of interesting and varied styles and cuisine.
Surry Hills: Is flooded with great restaurants that would suit any budget from expensive to cheap.
Crows Nest : Its hard to find a "real shop" here as most are restaurants and cafes with outside patios and umbrella's. It would take a year to try and eat through Willoughby Road.
Manly: No better place to dine than watching the waves break or the ferries meandering towards the wharf. They oceanfront promenade is lined with cafes and restaurants some expensive and others cheap. The Corso has recently been renovated.
Bondi: Another seaside resort area where you can dine and watch the girls wander around in their little bikini's.
Paddington : Walk down Oxford Street or Darlinghurst Street and you won't get hungry, plenty of establishments to make you satisfied.
Chinatown: Well here again is a place that's hard to spot the shop! Filled with amazing amount of cheap cafes and restaurants but you have to like Chinese!.
Leichhardt: Well if you like Italian food ...stroll down Norton Street..its filled with cafes and restaurants, with some of the best Italian food in Australia to suit all budgets.
