Watersports abound in the brilliant blue waters of the Azores. Scuba diving is considered to be among the best in the world. Sport fishing is another popular activity in the islands' waters. One of the most popular activities in the Azores, however, is to partake in a whale-watching cruise. There are a number of outfitters to choose from, and all offer an experience you will never forget: the opportunity to see whales up close and personal. As dolphins also abound in the waters, swimming with the dolphins is another activity for which you can opt.

There are three golf courses to choose from in the Azores, two in Sao Miguel and one in Terceira. A round of 18 holes will cost you about 55 Euro.
