The Museum of Risorgimento is located in the Province House, and displays a wide range of historical documents and exhibits that detail the history of Vicenza. Most of the artifacts found here date back to the Risorgimento period of history, and lead up to the end of WW II. This museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and is closed on Mondays. There admission cost is free to all.
The Olympic Theater that is located in the city of Vicenza was built in the 1580’s as a cultural establishment for the local population. This theater has been designated as a World Heritage Center. During the summer months, a number of performances are still held in this theater, which has been very well maintained over the past 400 plus years.
