The stay here was... alright... well first of all, the whole island is VERY pricey! I mean come on, a gallon of gasoline was about $5.40!! And the room was not what we excpected nor what we had paid for. It was a huge turnoff. We also saw that almost everyone that was at the resort had docked their boat at the marina and they stayed there in their boat. A good thing was that we rented a boat at the "Sea Horse Boat Rentals" at the marina and it was a blast! Definitely worth it. The people at the "Above and Below Abaco" dive center were great! Especially Kay. She treated us as if we had known each other our entire lives. The "Anglers" restaurant was a very good experiance. It was one of the best restaurants on the island. But the best was definitely "Wally's" the was located about 5 minutes away from the hotel if you walk. The website makes it look better then what it really is. The beach was full of algae about 2 feet from the shore. Overall, it was alright, but I would recommend that if you have a boat, bring it and dock it here. It is way better. And by the way, there was not a lot of people to be seen while walking around the resort. For example, I think I might be exaggerating if I say that there was about 2 people at the bar per day. Thanks for reading me and my family's thoughts on the Abaco Beach Resort.
