I stayed in a private room in the backpacker "wing" of the motel. The room itself was modern and clean, and had a TV, which is a real luxury for a backpacker hostel! However, there was no heating, so the room was pretty chilly. There are separate male and female shared bathrooms (a definite plus), but the shared kitchen and lounge areas weren't very big - probably not very nice to use when the hostel is full. Also, I did feel that the kitchen was in need of modernisation. All in all it's pretty good for a backpackers.
