I have eaten here a few times and I love the intimate atmosphere, extensive wine list and creative fare. Dining here is truly an experience for your senses...the flavors of the food are incredible. I truly appreciate good food and wine and when I say "mmmmm" after each mouthful, you know it's good! My husband and I brought his mom and her special someone here for dinner when they were visiting and he was a little disappointed that he couldn't order his usual evening cocktail (a martini)...so be aware that they don't serve mixed drinks. My husband and I are perfectly happy with a nice bottle of vino. Also, you can get on their e-mail list and they will inform you of any special goings-on. One night we tried a flight of four different wines they were offering, which changes periodically. I used to work at a winery, so I appreciate things like that. Needless to say, I am looking forward to our next meal there!

Don't miss Sack's while you are in Anchorage, Alaska. The food is fresh, mostly seafood, and is prepared in imaginative ways. Portions are ample and well flavored and service is also good. Try Alaska Amber if you like beer.

My wife & I had an unforgettable dinner there on July 8th, 2006. The restaurant is well located, in the center of a great walk-around shopping area, the service was terrific, and the King Salmon was, quite simply, PERFECT. Don't pass this up!

We only stopped in for a casual lunch but found the food first-rate and the service friendly and fast. The waiter saw we were tourists and gave us a lot of good advice about where to go and what to do. It's very conveniently located right in the middle of the shopping area of downtown Anchorage.
