“Great to stay when on your way”

Four Points Philadelphia Airport

4 of 5 stars

We stayed here because we had an early flight the next morning and they have a "stay and fly" parking package that allows you to park there for a week if you stay the night. We thought the hotel was very clean and comfortable, though it's going through some renovations and the lobby area is a bit of a mess. The room was small but clean and quiet. (No bugs, no noises... it did smell a little smoky, but if people smoke in the non-smoking rooms, I don't know what the hotel can do about it...) We had burgers in the hotel lounge, which were surprisingly good. For an extended stay, I'd recommend the Sheraton Suites, but for a short stopover, this was nice for the price.

I needed a place to stay for an assignment in Ridley Park. As the hotel was about 15 minutes away and close to the Airport, it was a good choice.

The Hotel is in the same complex as the Sheraton Suites and shares the shuttle to/from the Airport. The staff is extremely pleasant and offer excellent service. I would rate them as the best feature of the hotel.

The room was OK but in need of some refreshing besides the new beds which were excellent. The room was on the small size with two double beds. The rest of the furniture was somewhat worn but completely adequate for my purposes. Some minor rust on the sink and towel rack was evident but not really objectionable. I did note the the cover on the heating/cooling wall unit was loose but it performed well.

I did not use the hotel bar or restaurant but they appeared nice and well appointed. There was a computer in the lobby with high speed internet access for the guests in addition to free high speed access in the room.

Since I only used the room for sleeping and showering, it was acceptable. If I was in the room for more time during the day, it might have been less attractive.

A final note, they were repaving the parking lot making for a short walk while I was there. I believe it is now complete.

“Great Stay. Perfect for Airport service”

We stayed here overnight Oct. 19th. for an early flight the next morning. Prompt checkin. We were on the 5th floor. Non-smoking, 2 doulble beds. Very clean rooms, comfy beds. Are main concern was how the hotel airport shuttle would work. We had a 6 a.m. flight. The shuttle runs 24/7. We waited no more than 5 minutes for the huge shuttle. They loaded up our luggage and off we went for the 5 minute ride to the airport dropping us right off at our airline. When we returned on the 27th, we again waited no more than 5 minutes and back to the hotel we went. The best part is they offer a park and fly rate of 140.00 for 7 days. The area is gated and has security. We felt very comfortable leaving our car there for the week. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

“Ok- Staff was real nice & helpful”

I booked our room through the hotel website because my husband has severe allergies and has specific needs. A lot of good that did, those needs were never met. The room was not even vacuumed for us. There were potato chips on the floor. Hotel hall and rooms are in desperate need of maintenance repair, vacuum. I think all the airport
hotels are like this though.

On a better note the front desk staff was nice and seemed to be taking a lot of heat from people that said they had reservations and didn't. We got in late and wanted to eat, they had numerous take out menus to choose from that delivered until 1AM. I wanted to take a walk and asked if it was safe they assured me it was but would have the security jeep patrol me as well as the parking lot. The lot is well lit and patrolled 24 hours. The rooms are quite.

FYI if you book through the hotel website they will send you a confirmation number and keep in touch with you numerous times before your stay. If you don't get anything call them. The airport/city hotels sell out and there is nowhere to stay these people were frantic, take heed.

“Not too bad.”

This hotel was clean and decent. I did not hear any airplane noises. The bed was very comfortable. The pool looked clean and we even could see Philly in the distance from our window. The only bad thing was that it is not too close to the city. You are defiantely on the outskirts, but we had a car and it was no problem to get around , it is right by the highway. For the price it is good.
