“Imperfect Four Seasons”

Four Seasons Hotel Boston

Jul 13, 2008
0/1 found this review helpful

I only stay at Four Season properties so I have a good base of knowledge about them. Unfortunately, this one is the worst.

Where to start?

-lengthy check-in process
-construction in the lobby
-so many classes of rooms that it is hard to get an upgrade that is worthwhile.
-doorman actually asked me if i was a guest at the hotel and i had to prove it before he called me a cab
-housekeeping walked in on me even though i had a DND sign on the door
-the room service was cold
-the bed I had was not the typical four seasons bed.

Seriously not a Four Seasons property at its finest. For that - try London or New York.

“Four Seasons, Five Stars”

Four Seasons Hotel Boston

Jul 13, 2008

Have you ever been to a bad four seasons hotel?

I didn't think so - me neither.

This hotel offers everything we have come to know and love about the four seasons. Impeccable service, great rooms, good pool, brunch is amazing.

The best hotel in Boston. I always stay there when I am in town - but be warned, I left it too late last time and they had no room for me.

My wife still hasn't forgiven me.

“Great spot”

Four Seasons Hotel Boston

Traveling to Boston frequently, I've had the opportunity to stay at several of the hotels in the area. The Four Seasons Boston is the best one I've come across. The service is excellent. The location is great for business or touring downtown Boston. The restaurant/lounge on the lobby level serves excellent food and has a very nice atmosphere. The rooms are not quite as large as some spots, but they are very well furnished.
I would strongly recommend this hotel. It's location allows for easy access to some of the best parts of Boston. And, you can't beat the service.

“The 4 in Fours Seasons is for Service”

Four Seasons Hotel Boston

Mar 30, 2008

Four Seasons is the best hotel in Boston.

The roof top pool has one of the best views and the service can't be beat. The location is great for a quick walk through the Common , Newbury Street, Chales St, Beacon Hill and theatres. We have stayed at the Marriot Long Wharf, Marriot Copley, Westin, Sheraton , Air port Hilton, and the Ritz Carlton (now the Taj) the Four Seasons is definately the best. It also has the best children's menu and ammenities for kids. The work out room is great. The only thing missing are pedicure and manicure services at the hotel. There are very few hotels in Boston that have full spa services on site. The Westin claims to, but, the spa is actually in the Copley Mall. Not so condusive to walking down through the lobby in your robe. If you can stay at the Seasons when in Boston.
