We chose this excursion because we didn't want to be on a boat with a ton of people (max on this raft is 25) and it's not a slow sailing trip. My sister and I sat at the back on a comfy bench (the rest of the family were at the front). The speed you are travelling and the waves you are hitting are phenomenal. The back is not the best place to be if you want to stay moderately dry. It was a constant soaking! The trip leaves early in the morning so when you combine the time of day plus the speed you are going, it gets really chilly - INVEST THE $5 FOR A WET SUIT TOP at Snorkel Bob's or some other store (we forgot). We saw tons of dolphins that were swimming with the boats, whales and green sea turtles (not to mention the fish). The snorkeling was great. The Captain wasn't in a hurry to get us back (he checked with all onboard first) and our five hour trip turned into a six hour trip that was just exhiliarating!!! I can't remember the name of the raft we were on but our captain was Brad. He was fantastic - full of interesting tidbits and very funny. The breakfast and lunch was great (we thought anyway). We had a choice of buns, cheeses, deli meats and various condiments. Lots of cookies, fruit and muffins, juice and water. DEFINITELY A MUST DO!!!!
