My wife and I generally spend our holiday time in Majorca on the coast but fancied a short break away from the hussle and bustle of the beach areas. The area around Orient seemed a good spot and after reading other reviews on the Son Palou we booked up for a couple of evenings. We were not disappointed, the location is superb, the hotel facilities all one could ask for and Marc and his staff made us most welcome. We'd have liked better weather but enjoyed walks around the property and had a thoroughly relaxing break that we'd readily recommend to our friends.

We had a ten day holiday at this hotel and alhough the weather was overcast we had a good holiday in the most friendly of surroundings. The staff were excellent, the food most appetising and all in all we had a fine time. Well done Marc and his staff.

We've stayed at this hotel before and I'm happy to say that not much has changed at Son Palou since I wrote a review in June 2006.
It's sprouted a couple more nice rooms which are in keeping with their surroundings, and a new regime in the kitchen has added a touch of flair to the food. It's still extremely peaceful, there were still cherries from the finca amongst the array of fruits at breakfast, but perhaps the most impressive thing was the number of repeat visitors of several nationalities, several of whom said to me that thay returned "because it is a very special place"
