This is an old-time Jewish deli that serves wonderful comfort food in vinyl booths, with old fashioned waitresses who are super friendly, and a place that makes your feel at home. The mushroom barley soup is to die for, and the sweet and sour meatballs great. Portions are large and the bill small. On my recent visit, I ordered the prime rib (cooked medium) and it was overcooked. The potato pancake was also burnt and greasy. However, the broccoli was fresh and cooked just right. My friends ordered the meatballs and I tried them, and they were as good as last time. Portions were so large we needed doggie bags to take much of the food home. I have been to many Jewish deli's across the country and this one falls somewhere in the middle on the quality scale. But the "feel at home" atmosphere is what makes it stand out. I will keep returning to this place (when in the area) if I need a comfort food fix - especially the Kosher kind.
