Hershey Chocolate Making Tour - free - disneyesque ride through simulated chocolate factory - worth the price of admission (free)

3-D Movie - Cute enough, but skippable - nothing learned just typical "4d" effect, but if you have not seen a movie like this, the kids will like it.

Trolley Ride - Thorougly enjoyed - trip with singing actors who take you through the town and a history of the man behind it.

Pack your own Kisses - Ok souvenir - can be free or $10 for some kisses and an employee id.

Food - good selection at food court - better than Kit Kat Cafe

This is a solid half day of activity with a price for each thing you choose to do. I would choose the theme park over this, but the trolley ride is very nice.

Overall the experience is well put together and first class.

Go to this attraction because the simulated factory tour ride is free. I had my kid convinced it was the real factory because it must look pretty real to a 10 yr old. The 3D show cost money but it was enjoyable. The free factory tour, of course, drops you off in the Hershey gift shop. Your knees will buckle when you smell the chocolate and see all the candy bars and your wallet will open.

I love the chocolate factory and have since I was a kid. It is great for a day trip or for a short tour before you enter the park! The ride is TOTALLY FREE!!! Here are some tips when going:

- Go on the factory tour first! Free and though lines may look long, it goes fast and is totally worth it! And you can bring your camera to take pictures inside!
- When you get off the ride, you are given free chocolate! And if you can't have chocolate or peanut butter just ask for something else, they are always willing to provide something else!
-Once you get off, you go right into the store...and trust me it is busy. If you have kids, run past the bakery and clothing and keep walking until you see the food court. The chocolate shop is on the left. This is where you can get chocolate from 50 cents to $49.95. Do what my dad did, gave us all $5 and said have fun.
- DON'T EAT HERE!! EAT BEFORE YOU GO! The food is just as expensive as the food in the park. However, if you eat before you go you can take advantage of the AMAZING MILK SHAKES!! They are a little expensive but worth it. They even come with a SOUVENIER CUP!
- Walk out the front doors, you will be able to pass the various other shops that you will want to endulge your money in.
-If you are there for the day, try the 3D show and trolley ride, $8.00-$15. BUT WORTH IT!

-First day...drive relax....then check out the chocolate factory , and the night before you use any hershey pass you have the ability to go into the park 2 1/2 hours the night before!!! FOR FREE!
-Second day...HERSHEY PARK!
-Third day...Hershey museum and auto museum!
