Mid-30's couple, checked in on a Sunday afternoon with departure for the airport first thing Monday AM, mid-May. Did park-n-fly package for $125 (one night lodging, car got to stay there for a week, perhaps more....)

Nice, fast check-in. Friendly front desk staff. Felt very welcomed when we arrived. Reserved trip to airport during check-in (a must).

Run-of-the-mill room.
Notables:
1) King bed with sofa
2) Shower pressure was very good.
3) Quiet room with respect to outside noises (traffic, both air and car)---please see note below concerning inside noises!

Felt safe leaving car in the park-n-flyparking lot. It's fairly well separated from the street with lots of lights.

Shuttle pick-up was on-time with nice drivers. Give them a tip! Also, on the return trip, the shuttle pick-up was very timely (< 5 mins after we called, the driver picked us up at the terminal). The driver dropped us off right at our car and even backed up to our trunk so that we wouldn't have to lug our bags at all (again, gave a respectable tip).

Only complaint: Walls are very thin! Could actually hear word-for-word a phone conversation of our next-door neighbor. Could also hear TV's from next door very well. We were lucky to have fairly quiet neighbors who went to sleep at about the same time we did. Be forewarned!

I have stayed at this hotel three times. The staff is very friendly, they are flexible about their rates (they once allowed me to park my car for three weeks at the usual "park and fly" rate), and there is a decent free breakfast. I have never had any problem with the shuttle. Some of the rooms are nicer than others, but all are at least clean and comfortable. This is not a fancy hotel, but a comfortable place to get some sleep before or after a flight.

I stayed at the hotel after reading the reviews at this website. I found the experience to be terrible! First, there were roaches (or some form of large black bug) on the walls and under the curtains for the window. The room itself was not that clean and the faucet in the bathroom was not properly in place so water sprayed the entire counter when I turned the faucet on. The shower was a typical substandard hotel shower in that there was very little water pressure and not very clean.

In the very, very early morning, the maids and staff were shouting at eachother down the hallway. One entered the room next to our, turned the radio to full blast, then left the room open for at least 20 minutes until my boyfriend went next door to turn the radio off himself. We then heard the maid finally come back to vaccum, which took all of about 3 seconds. We realized why the rooms were so dirty.

The staff was no help at all. Upon entering the hotel, we asked for a late checkout and were told that they can offer them only in the morning because it depended on how many rooms the maids had to clean. Basically, they weren't going to pay overtime for maids to clean the room for only us. I was given the name of the manager as the woman at the desk wanted nothing more than to pass the buck.

I would not recommend this hotel!

I decided to stay at this hotel to avoid having to drive to the aiport at 3:00am and experience the awful economy parking lot right before Easter. The cost of the room was excellent - and the ability to leave my car for a week for FREE was absolutely wonderful (many of the other hotels charge for parking). The only complaint I had was that check-in was very long - after driving 2 1/2 hours in the pouring rain, I arrived at 10:30pm, expecting to check-in right away and get some much needed sleep to catch my very early flight. The person at the front desk was answering calls for potential customers rather then checking in the long line of (drenched) people she had in front of her. When I finally checked in, my room key didn't work, and since I was there by myself, I had to lug myself and my bags back down to the lobby - which ended up being a minor inconvenience after I finally got to my room. The room was spacious and clean, with a king size bed and couch. The shuttle arrived perfectly on time (I'm always antsy about getting to the aiport early) and the driver was pleasant and efficient (be sure to sign up for the specific time you need the shuttle at check-in). Overall, it was a positive experience minus the check-in. Do yourself a favor...stay at the Comfort Inn whenever you're travelling through PHL...and avoid the horrendous parking at the aiport!
