This was my second trip to this hotel. The property is well-maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. Lots of restaurants are nearby. In short, the property is everything a business traveler will look for.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting the Dayton area for the weekend. The hotel has a free business center, free breakfast and a light dinner most weekdays, a outdoor pool and an exercise room. The hotel is located on a two lane, low traffic, street directly across from 3-4 fast food restaurants, a Bob Evans, and a small shopping center.

I booked a one-bedroom suite for myself, my mother and son. The one-bedroom suite had two double beds in the bedroom, one bath, sleeper sofa, dining area and kitchen. It wasn't as large as some of the other HWS's I've stayed, but it suited the purpose. The bathroom area configuration was a little confusing - you had to go through three doors to actually use the bathroom. One door that separates the bedroom from the bathroom, one door that separates the sink/vanity from the bathroom, and then the bathroom door itself.

The problems I had with this hotel was the breakfast and the evening hotel desk clerks. For breakfast, they served the usual continental breakfast foods (coffee, juices, breads, cereals, etc.), eggs, and microwaved overcooked bacon and sausage the first day and overcooked pre-cooked egg and cheese omeletes the second day so I stuck to the muffins and cereal both days. The first night I went to use the business center and had to wait and wait until a hotel staff member finished his internet surfing before I could use the computer. The second night, I asked the hotel desk clerk if he could refer or if he had any local restaurant menus for delivery and was rudely told that this wasn't a take out restaurant and to try the yellow pages located in my room.

I found the hotel grounds, public areas, and suite to be very nice and well-suited, but the hotel staff and free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. I would recommend this hotel to others if you can avoid the evening staff members.

Checked in on March 29, 2007 to a marvelous experience I would recommend to anyone who is traveling or needing a place to stay. This is a beautiful place.

Between 5:30 pm & 7:30 pm Monday through Thursday, there is a Welcome Home reception for all guests which included a tasty salad, BBQ chicken wings, potatoes, nachos & salsa, drinks (including three different types of wine), beer, and all sorts of other delectable treats. What a Welcome party this is.

You need your room key to get into the building, so the security is appreciated. The free high-speed internet worked wonderfully.

This room wasn't just a room, it was an apartment. It had a microwave, refrigerator, stove and sink with pots, pans and silverware. Oh yes, there were dish towels, hot pads, and other accessories which included a dishwasher! There was even a welcome package of popcorn. Yummy! The room was extremely quiet.

To begin your day there is a Suite Start hot breakfast that has everything you could possibly want. It included scrambled eggs, sausages, homemade waffles, fruit, all sorts of bread, and different drinks. If you go away hungry, then it's your choice.

There wasn't anything negative to report. Homewood Suites is gorgeous and was worth every penny. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The area has shopping and restaurants close by - even within walking distance. Visited the Wright-Patterson National Air Force museum which is fairly close by. It's worth the trip to see the airplanes and history and the admission is free.

If you're unsure where to stay as there is a huge selection to pick from but you want to be pampered and feel like royalty, then look no further. This is THE place. I would definitely stay here again, if I was in the area. Thanks Homewood Suites for making my stay memorable.

I often travel to the Dayton/Fairborn area due to work with the Air Force Base. I've stayed at almostevery hotel in the area and the Homewood Suites just found themselves a lifelong guest.

Incredibly nice and helpful staff. Free breakfast and dinner social. Suites are spacious and immaculate. The price is right. The other hotel choices in the area don't even compare.

I'd easily recommend this hotel to anyone needing a room in Dayton.
