For those who want to be close to the action in downtown Cape May yet have a place to escape and relax....this is the place. My family and I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time. Robyn and Julie are excellant hosts and have excellant advice for exploring the area. The entrance to the beach is less than 1/2 a block away. They have beach chairs and beach towels for use. They also have bikes to use to see the town. The food is wonderful and the rooms are fresh with private bathrooms and comfortable beds with beautiful linens. There is parking on the property and you are easily within walking distance of downtown. I highly recommend them!!!!

We wanted a place to stay to relax and spend time with family that was also going to stay there. The pictures do not do the inn justice. It is a beautiful place with a rocking chair porch to soak in the view of the ocean. What a way to relax. The breakfasts prepared by Wolfgang were incrediable. What a way to start the day.

Our room was great with a view of the ocean. Would defintely recommend this inn to all of my family and friends!

My husband and I just returned after spending a couple of days celebrating our anniversary at this wonderful unique special place located across the street from the beach. From the moment we arrived hosts Robyn and Wolfgang treated us as family. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, with many having ocean views. Wolfgang cooking is just as good as any gourmet restaurant and better. If you have the opportunity to plan ahead have him cook dinner for you.You won’t be disappointed. Robyn made sure we had hot coffee tea or hot chocolate thru out the day as well as fresh fruit. Both are warm interesting people as well as friendly which makes your stay that much more enjoyable. If you can book the front room with ocean view and balcony treat your self although all the rooms are very nice as well as the plush robes.This was one of the nicest getaways and can't wait to return.

My husband and I were married at the Rhythm of the Sea June 25. One of the first things that attracted us was the clean, open rooms. Not frilly and cluttered like most of the Cape May B&Bs. We rented the entire place from June 23 through the 26th and brought our families in for the weekend. Robyn and Wolf were very accomodating and worked with us to make sure it was memorable. The place was spotless, the robes and towels plush. I don't think enough can be said about Wolf's cooking. The breakfasts were healthy, delicious and filling, and in the afternoon, the cakes and pies were great. Robyn always had a bowl of fresh fruit out also. For our wedding, Wolf cooked for 42 people, everything from the cocktail hour to appetizers, salad, main course and gorgeous (and delicious) wedding cake. There was nothing that didn't go well or taste delicious; our guests loved it. We would recommend Rhythm of the Sea to anyone, for a quiet weekend, for an event or just for the beautiful beach right across the street.
