We picked this hotel after a late arrival in Reno to get some rest before driving to Tahoe. It is pretty close to the airport and on the way to Tahoe. It's also close to several common restaurants and coffee shops (walking distance). The hotel appeared new, and the attendant at the desk was very kind. However, our first room had a running toilet that wouldn't quit despite all common simple measures to remedy the problem. So, we requested a new room and received one with no problem. However, the second room had a potent odor of vomit and smoke masked with cleaning supplies. We were too tired to request a third room, and it didn't seem to bother my wife much. To top off a poor stay, the bed was quite lumpy. There was a breakfast the following morning, but it was $9 so we skipped it for something more substantial and cheaper. Perhaps a third room would have been fine, but our experience with the first two makes our experience a 2 out of 5.

I used this hotel as a stop over on the way to Salt Lake City. Room was a good size and quiet. Everything was spotlessly and smelled clean - couldn't find a single fault with the room!

We read the reviews for this Courtyard on TripAdvisor and decided it sounded like a nice place to stay. We were in Reno for sort of a family reunion. We stayed at the Peppermill the first night because other family members were staying there...What a mistake. We were so happy to get to the Reno Courtyard. I am happy to report that we found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, friendly, and well run. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room clean and well appointed. The indoor pool is small but adequate and the hot tub is very nice. The hotel is located in a nice area, with lots of shopping and restaurants. The casinos are just a few miles away. We ate breakfast at a little diner across the street from the hotel that looks like a railroad car. They offer $5 breakfast specials which aree huge and tasty. We highly recommend this hotel

Across the street from a Target, several eating places within walking distance and a new massage place is opening right next door.

The hotel was very clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Several great places to run / walk on the other side of South Virginia (there is a trail behind Target).

The only place to stay in Reno. Two thumbs up.
