“Bally's was great!”

I went to Vegas over the weekend and stayed at Bally's. Our room was in the North tower. The room was very big and spacious. Great tempature control and everything was as clean as could be. Comfortable beds, nice decor. The service in the place was good too. Easy check in/out. They let us check in at 11a.m. They said check in was later, but that since he room was ready, we could take it at that time. The bellman was quick with our bags. Every one was very friendly. There is a cafe restaurant in Bally's (can't remember the exact name) that has great sandwiches...yum yum! I really enjoyed my stay, nothing to complain about!

“Nice hotel”

We stayed at Bally's for three nights, Sept. 22 - 25. The hotel is in a fantastic location and is much less expensive than their pricey neighbors. We booked through the Ballys website and saved a significant amount and received two free tickets to the Jubilee! show.

Our room was in the North Tower. Room was decent. Lovely view of the parking garage, but who comes to Vegas to look out of the room. Our only issue with the room was lack of water pressure. But my in-laws had great pressure in their room.

The Jubilee show was very good. Neither my wife or I were overly thrilled with the idea of a topless show but it was tasteful and the staging and costumes were fantastic. The "Samson and Delilah" piece was a little odd, a topless Bible story. But other than that, it was good.

Casino at Bally's was not friendly to me but there was always plenty of action.

I would definately stay at Bally's again.

“Yuck--never again”

Bally's Las Vegas

We went to Vegas for a B-day party. The person who arranged the party chose Bally's in order to accommodate everyone's ability to pay. The planning and reservations had been in place for 5 months. The host's room reservations were screwed up completely and she ended up in the wrong suite the first night and was transferred to a different suite the 2nd day (which, again, did not meet her specifications). She also had problems with the catered cocktail hours in her room--always served late, never cleaned up, etc. We had problems with our reservation as well, having booked rooms and "Club 22" usage in adavance, the club usage was ignored when we checked in and we were put in the South Tower which had mold embedded in the shower grout. We straightened this out by moving everything to a different room in the North Tower. The Club 22 does not include spa usage and cocktails cost extra--hardly worth the additional $32 per day. The men's spa was closed for repairs for 2.5 days while we were there and our massgaes were cancelled. The pool is nothing spectacular and spends much of the day in the shade. The cabanas, which we rented, were overpriced and the servers frequently could not be found. Our room was never really cleaned while we were there (maid spent, on average, less than 5 minutes in the room--I know because I often would go down the hall to see a friend and reutrn and there would be new towels and, sometimes, the bed would be made). I would NEVER stay at Bally's again.

“what's wrong with the south tower”

First of all my family and I stayed at Ballys late last year.I dont normally write reviews, but seeing as i have used this site for picking hotels in both las vegas and florida,I feel that I should write with my comments on the south tower rooms that so many people keep slating.Ballys was our second visit to vegas(and believe me it wont be our last)The first time we stayed at the Luxor,we stayed in the south tower BECAUSE of reviews on this site telling of the views of the bellagio fountains and the strip. We got a room looking right onto the dancing fountains,a site that saw my daughters face light up every evening. As for the shoddy rooms, being English we are supposed to put up with anything, not me if there is a fault with anything i will complain, and i had nothing to complain about with our south tower room. The room was large, clean and the bathroom was tidy. When we came in our room at the end of a long exhausting day it was nice to spend a little time looking onto the strip before getting a good nights sleep in a very comftable bed.The rooms on the north tower may have newer furniture, but you aint taking it home with you, are you !

Maybe we were luckier than most, but we had nothing to complain about during our stay at Bally's.
The room was clean, nonsmoking as requested and was quite large with a view across the street to Barbary Coast.
We would stay here again.
