When arrived on a Saturday night at the hotel after 12 hours driving, no receptionist at front desk, after 15 min someone finally showed, we booked our room almost three weeks in advance, she had nothing ready for us and tried to find a room. I requested an upper floor and she gave us room 210. We were exsausted and went to bed, the next morning I took a shower and found all kind of bites on me. Talked to the front desk and requested the manager, he was not available, we told the receptionist the problem and requested another room, she refunded the money for that night and gave us another room.
On the way to the other room, trash was in the hall way. In the following days I went to a dermatologist and he confirmed bed bug bites, we contacted the local health department, but they could not find anything. The Regional Manager of the hotel, was onsite the following Wednesday, I talked to him, but he reffered me to the hotel insurance, they should contact me within 24 hours, I also told him about the trash which was still in the hall way.
We left one week later and the trash was still there.
The Insurance just contacted me this week (three weeks later and told me that there is no case what so ever)
