Little did I realize when I booked this hotel for $100/night that is was in fact a five star hotel. The room itself was probably the nicest of our three week South America trip. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor pools (with waterfalls), a health club, a games room and many more outdoor activities. When you book, make sure to have both breakfast and dinner included. There is really no where else to go for dinner and the complete buffet costs $20/night. The hotel is located at most 20 minutes from Iguauzu Falls and 30 minutes from the airport. I would definitely stay there again.

“Good hotel, bad food”

We stayed two nights at this hotel while visiting Iguazu Falls in late January. The hotel is convenient, and has a good first impression with large grounds, a walking/jogging path, and a large pool. A new spa and fitness center had been added. Our room was small, with a remodeled bathroom; however, I understand there are other older rooms in the hotel that are bigger. We had dinner in the restaurant, but the food was so bad we decided to go into town the next evening for something better. The breakfast, included with the room, was equally bad with not much fresh to eat. Although the service was generally good, there are probably better choices for hotels in Puerto Iguazu.

We stayed here for 3 nights for our trip to the falls and loved it. The rooms were neat and clean (they came to clean it in the morning and gave you fresh towels again in the evening, nice touch.) The staff was courteous and helpful. The buffets were good, not amazing, but we ate there for all 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners and thought they were fulfilling. The grounds were great. It has a nice pool area with waterfall and plenty of lounge chairs. They also have a great spa area with an indoor pool, gym equipment, massages, and a relaxation room. There is also a 1 km trail through jungle-like woods which is nice, and tennis courts and a soccer field. We would stay there again!

If you get a chance to do the full moon walk while at the falls, do it! It was really cool to see the falls at night. With the full moon, you could see a lot! What a great experience, we were so glad we happened to be there on the full moon!

We stayed in the hotel as a second choice; the recommended Sheraton was full and we did not get a chance to check it out. On our three week trip in Argentina, this was the hotel disappointment after staying in a range of hotels. Perhaps the only plus was the pool complex that helped amuse our children - but only on our second day as it was closed for maintenance on the first. Breakfast and evening buffets are average. A particular sore point was our room the first night (we moved the next day) that was positioned on the first floor immediately over the coffee shop - nice outlook over the pool but deafening when the band warmed up in the evening. Should you want tyo sleep before 12 ish, sugest take a room at the front. On a positive, the staff were generally pretty good.

Stayed here for 3 nights while seeing the falls. It's hard to imagine other falls more spectacular. Good location, 15 min by cab for the park and 5 min to town. Large, clean rooms with good breakfast buffet. The pool area is nice for the kids. Only other option is the Sheraton in the park, but at twice the cost (over $300/nt) it's way overpriced. This hotel is neat, clean and great for families. You can see the falls in one day but taking two days gives you some breathing room. One day for all the walking and another day to do the boat ride (the gran adventure), jungle tour and climbing the island for great views. Eat at La Rueda in town ( get the lomo).
