“Great hotel, great value”

Tribeca Buenos Aires Apart

Jan 8, 2008

We were very satisfied with our stay at Tribeca. The location is excellent, in "pleno centro" and within a couple of blocks from a major subway.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and let us check in more than 2 hours early, as well as allowed us to check out a bit later. The rooms were clean, and incredibly spacious.

The breakfast buffet was amazing...and free! Fresh fruits, breads, yogurts, pastries, croissants, hams, cheeses, cereals, and fruit salad. Eggs made to order!

The only complaint was the peso per call made with a calling card.

Overall, a great value. We booked through an Argentine website, and our one night stay was just $86 USD.

“Sanctuary in Buenos Aires”

Tribeca Buenos Aires Apart

Dec 26, 2007

We found this hotel from the tripadvisor website and all that has been said is true. The immediate surroundings are not great but the excellent and very large rooms as well as the outdoor coutyard area give this apartment hotel a good feel, it is also very quite. The food is excellent as is the service. A warning for Aussie travellers, apartment hotel is not what what we would expect. A microwave is provided and a small dining table but no cutlery - bring your own if you wish to dine in. No need really in this city with such cheap food.

“Lovely rooms, friendly staff”

Great hotel, the rooms were nice and spacious and felt very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and you could usually find someone who spoke English. The location was good for Casa Rosada, San Telmo and the shopping street of Florida Road. I would however probably chose to stay in the Palermo area next time for the restaurants and bars around there, but for this trip this area was perfect for the site seeing I wanted to do. The hotel rates were pretty good too, paid about US$115 for a triple room.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Tribeca, and I cannot praise the accomodation highly enough. The room we received was excellent in terms of space and cleanliness ( looked like a New York loft apartment). The staff spoke more than adequate English and were very helpful. The area is not the best but we never felt uneasy even returning on foot at night. The location is pretty central which means you can walk or use a taxi to visit the surrounding attractions. All in all I highly recommend it !!!

We stayed at the Tribeca for 5 days and were very pleased. At first we were put off by the messy street location, but that was the only drawback. The location is very convienent to shopping, restaurants, Av. de 9 Julio and Av de Mayo. Everything is within easy walking distance. Hotel courtyard is very pleasing. Rooms large, modern and neat. Liked the kitchen table where we spread out our maps and brochures and sipped mate. Hotel restaurent serves a nice breakfast (included), and also has free internet access.
Staff is friendly and efficient, and someone there always seemed to speak English. They will arrange tours, tango shows, and point you in the right direction for anywhere you want to go. They know BA very well!
