“Great Location”

Nice hotel with a convenient location. Most of the major tourist destinations are within 1 or 2 km of the hotel and can be walked to by the ambitious. When needed cabs are frequently available.

I would have given an excellent rating except on two separate stays in two different rooms, my hotel safe was broken.

“Simply spacious!”

We stayed for three nights at the Feir's Park Hotel in mid October 2007. We booked through [--] and paid about USD150 per night, which we thought was very reasonable for what we got:

1. Free internet access and a guided tour around the city (every Saturday morning)
2. Small private kitchen with tea and coffee-making facility
3. Excellent breakfast
3. A spacious room with modern air-conditioning, a safe and hairdryer
4. A bath tub with good water-pressure and plenty of hot water
5. Excellent English-speaking staff and security (front door is guarded all day), but our friends were still able to come up to our room with no problem at all.

The location is also very nice with lots of art galleries nearby. Additionally, it is within walking distance to Recoleta (about a 10-15 minute of easy walking), where all the famous boutiques and nice cafes are located. Finally, there is an excellent supermarket just right across the street from the hotel, making shopping for food and beverages a breeze.

“No complaints, great service”

Feirs Park Hotel

I was in Buenos Aires for a conference and one of the suggested hotels was this one, located just a couple blocks off the touristy pedestrian street Florida. Our conference rate was US$150/night. Service was very good and I enjoyed the perks like free Internet in the business center and free breakfast buffett (scrambled eggs, bacon, assorted breads, yogurt, fruit, etc.). The fitness center is a standard hotel gym; it has a couple treadmills, en elliptical trainer, and a couple bikes as well as weights and Nautilus machine. Everything was very clean and my room - a junior suite - was spacious. My only minor complaint was that the mattress was not very firm and it was too soft for my taste, but other than that I had a very satisfying stay.

“45 Days - Great Breakfast!”

Feirs Park Hotel

Buenos Aires, Argentina

We're a family of five with a dog, recently relocated to Buenos Aires. We stayed at Feir's Park for 45 days and it was very comfortable!
The living room furniture is still old but they must have redone the bedrooms and bathrooms since 2004 because ours were modern and very, very comfortable.
We found we couldn't hang out on our bed - it was so comfortable, we'd end up falling asleep.
We asked for and received a microwave oven for the room. The restaurant downstairs is above average with an excellent buffet breakfast my husband still talks about.
Very friendly staff, security is excellent and with the Disco grocery store right across the street - we were as comfortable as we could be for living in a hotel with our dog for 45 days.

“Above and beyond the call”

Feirs Park Hotel

I am a well-seasoned business traveler, having spent nearly the last twenty years working at a Washington, D.C. litigation firm. On first blush, Feir's Park Hotel in Buenos Aires provides a more than adequate accommodation at a reasonable price. The rooms are actually large two room suites with average size bathrooms and balconies. There is also a very nice series of roof-top decks that include an outdoor swimming pool. The largely multi-lingual staff was, without exception, friendly and helpful -- from the bell staff, to the cleaning staff, to the front desk and the room service personnel. The quality of the room service food (ordered twice) was good.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone on these bases alone, but an incident that occurred during our stay leads me to unequivocally recommend the hotel. My wife, cat and I recently re-located to Buenos Aires for a year and reserved a week long stay at Feir's Park while we completed our search for an apartment. Unfortunately, my wife became seriously ill one evening during our stay. My call to the front desk at 3:30am was greeted by a swift response that an ambulance would be summoned immediately. My wife and I proceeded to the lobby and were met by front desk and security personnel. Their response was one of genuine concern. The ambulance arrived several minutes later. The man from the front desk immediately provided keys to a second room on the first floor where medical attention was provided to my wife by the emergency medical technicians. The gentleman from the front desk stayed with us to help translate for the EMT's. My wife's condition required her to be taken to the hospital. One of the hotel's security personnel was dispatched with us in the ambulance to the hospital, with the assurance that the hotel would pick up the costs of not only the ambulance but also the treatment provided. As my wife and I speak very little Spanish, this was a great aid in navigating the emergency room at the hospital and admission process.
My wife's treatment involved several hours of emergency room care. All the while, the security person from the hotel stayed in the emergency waiting room. At around 6:00am, the owner of the hotel came to the hospital to see if we needed any further assistance and insisted that the cost of my wife's treatment would be taken care of by the hotel.
All the staff at Feir's Park could not have shown more genuine concern or have been nicer. After my wife was treated, the security person paid the bill and accompanied us back to the hotel in a taxi. Several days later, the owner of the hotel sent a doctor and translator to our room for a follow-up to ensure that my wife had fully recovered.
In twenty years of extensive business and leisure travel, I have never experienced a more personal stay at a hotel than this and would uneqivocally recomment the hotel. In short, you will be in very good hands if you choose to stay at the Fier's Park Hotel.
