Nice clean hotel with generally friendly staff, great location, price, etc...

But, there is no internet connection in the rooms. There is one computer in the lobby and a wireless connection that only works in the lobby (and only for my first day).

This is a big pain if you use the internet as your guidebook. I was lucky --- by opening my window and sitting on the tv, I could get on the wireless signal from the loisuites hotel nearby.

Well i have to say that when i came to this hotel i was expecting something else......

from outside looks very nice, but as soon as i checked in the staff was just so rude. We asked some questions about the room and they responded with stupid answers, and tried to be so quick that the experience ruined the whole stay.

the room was small, the airconditioning was not working properly, it felt that everybody was smoking in all the rooms.

Im sure there must be nicer hotels in buenos aires.. so go ahead and look somewhere else

The Bisonte Palace is located just a few blocks from Plaza San Martín and La Florida walking strip. It is also just a block back from the main Avenida 9 de Julio, making the location a great launching pad for some lovely city walks. The lobby is comfortable, the staff is helpful and the doors are manned at all times. A guest key card is required to operate the elevators. The rooms are nice, equipped with a radio and a spacious vanity area. The breakfasts have a full range of croissant sandwiches, fruit, yogurts, jello, eggs, etc. Overall, a very nice stay.

We stayed at the Bisonte for 4 nights before going on a South American cruise in early March '07. We booked on line after spending hours scouring the internet trying to select a hotel. Boy did we luck out with a good one. All the staff were courteous and patient with us [we don't speak Spanish]. The front counter staff were were very helpful and arranged our Tango nights for us. The breakfast was more than we expected and the breakfast staff very efficient and polite. The hotel is centrally located and very secure. Our room was clean and bright and overlooked the road from the 7th floor. Internet service was included in the room rate. All in all this hotel was our home away from home and we were very happy there. If we go back to B.A. we would definitely stay here again.
