Business serviceA delightful place--or palace actually. It has a wonderful atmosphere in a quiet area. It truly felt like India and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It met all my expectations and was a great choice.

ServiceWhat a find. As we arrived down the side street, slightly out of town we were anxious about what we would find but then suddenly you see this amazing building with colourful mosaic entrance and beautiful furniture in the lobby.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Our room was huge. It was very luxurious compared to other indian accommodation we had stayed in. Electric heater was provided as we went there in the chilly season. Bathroom was massive (although shower flooded into rest of bathroom this was such a minor fault).
We couldn't believe our luck at what we had got for our money.
It was a bit out of town but we felt this was a positive as it was slightly removed from the full on polution of Jaipur.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any of our family and friends as a must.

Business serviceThe hotel is deco with strong Rajasthan style. You feel very comfortable in its big room. The restroom is good and very clean either...there is also one window designed based on hawa mahal. It's close to train station but a little far from downtown.
This hotel has lovely rooms that include antique furniture and balconies, as well a huge bathroom that was completely black marble. We actually originally booked into the Umaid Bhawan, run by the same family but due to a problem with our room, we were relocated to the Umaid Mahal. However, we were allowed to use the pool at the Umaid Bhawan which was one of our main requirements as we knew the weather would be warm.
The staff were a bit indifferent ( apart from the very friendly room cleaning man ) but if asked, would organise what you wanted. Being left alone by the staff in some ways was a welcome break from constantly being asked where you were going and whether you wanted a lift ( at a price of course ! ).
The location was in a quiet residential part of town which was about a 15 min drive into Jaipur but there were always autorickshaw drivers outside to take you where you wanted.
