This is a good hotel in a city which must be overwhelmed by group tours in the high season (we stayed there for five nights in December). There was no feeling of the impersonal at this hotel. In fact, a young man -- Kevin -- an American -- at the front desk went out of his way to give us specific advice and help. Everything about this hotel is excellent -- room size, breakfast, location in the centre of the city, and so on. There's only one odd thing that I would comment on: the room, although spacious, had a lot of glass partitions instead of walls. That meant that anyone in the bathroom was in full view. This is, no doubt, a reflection of some sort of "modern" decor concept -- but it is still not very well thought out. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay!
