Arrived in the evening and to be honest, was very dissapainted in what i so. looks like a tacky nightclub from the road, reception is very basic with very little info and first glance of the whole complex was dissapointing. how my views were about to change!!

got to the triple room which was one big double room, a living room with tv, sofa and bed setee. a washing up area and an adequetly sized bathroom. sunrise showed the complex's true colours! 2 beautiful swimming pools (one with swim up bar i must add), a fine housekeeper who got us anything we wanted includng a kettle and a fridge! and the fact that we were only a 5 minute walk from naama bay!

bar service was a little slow, breakfast needed and aquired taste and an annoying guy trying to sell u something from the 'hotel shop' everytime u left or entered but appart from that, would probably go back!

Room service are non existent. Made 3 orders & all were totally wrong. Staff very friendly. Rooms were clean, aircon, fridge & warm water. Breakfast good. Close to N'Bay centre. Will go again. Very good tariffs.

This is a new place so there were not many reviews about this place before me and 3 other mates booked. However once we got there it was really nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. We even met the hotel owner who was a rich but nice guy, the room service is excellent and the 2 pools makes it more than conveniant and spacious. Also it is only about 10 min walk from the main naama marina bay. 5/5

“Enjoyed the Stay”

The Hotel 'worked' for us on our diving holiday with Cardiff Scuba. Being relatively recently built the rooms were in good condition, bed comfortable, shower (no bath) excellent, air con good, quiet location, but only 10mins walk down a hill to Naama Bay. We sampled the evening buffet just once and could not recommend it, but loads of eating opportunities in Naama. Breakfast was more than adequate. Our tummies were okay all trip.
One pool was heated and pool side bar was lively - avoid having a room beside this if you want early nights & starts to go diving. Bar prices quite high. sakara gold was about £1.80 a bottle. There is a cool roof top bar as well.
Just outside the grounds there are two banks with cashpoints (one is HSBC) and a convenience store that is open 24*7 for buying the essentials (e.g. water )

“Not 4*”

Viking Club

Jan 29, 2008

Very disappointed in this hotel - certainly did not deserve a 4* rating on my experience. Building was poorly finished and rooms were basic - no-ones fridge worked, the safe was portable! balcony just had room for one chair, no tea or coffee making facilities, etc. Breakfast was OK but evening meals very poor - buffet with little variety, meat chewy, food cold. Staff were OK. Entertainment was variable. There are much better 4* hotels in Sharm el Sheikh, and hotels of 3* or even 2* which are just as good - check out the Ocean Club for real value or the Iberotel Place for proper 4* comfort
