The hotel complex covers a large area with beautifully laid out gardens, our room was in the sports complex which was across the main road (M25) and a ten minute walk to breakfast. For those wanting absolute peace and quiet this area of the hotel is not for you,we suffered the droning of a B52 from the water plant across the road and the louder than usual air conditioning units on the roof of each block.
We found the rooms to be of an adequate size and cleaned daily, staff were all polite and helpful,we somehow missed out on the bowl of fruit and nuts had to make do with a bottle of water, however our daughter did receive a cake on her birthday which was a nice surprise.
We stayed BB as you can eat cheaply and there is plenty of choice, look out for Dananeer where seafood is strongly recommended.
Back to breakfast, enough choice to suit most tried to avoid eating my body weight in buns just because it was there.
The waiters appear to be trained to remove plates and cuttlery if there is a 5 second delay in any movement whilst ignoring empty tables that have been left laden this created a shortage of available tables which we found some mornings.
This hotel like many suffers the towel on sunbed syndrome, which if you cant beat them join them,we always found sunbeds!
Having stayed previously at the golf resort which has a superb swimming pool area, this hotel is more for location to Naama bay and the beach if you prefer.
Our holiday was excellent value for money we would stay here again, avoiding the sports area next time and parts of the palm area which could prove to be very noisy from the nightlife.
