Myself, my husband and my parents returned from this resort on Sunday the 23rd of March after a fantastic week of relaxation. We stayed in the CLUB resort and was a little apprehensive after not being able to locate many reviews for this part of the hotel complex.

We arrived at the hotel around 5.30pm and were greeted with refreshing drinks and a helpful hand with our suitcases. After a completely painless checkin we were escorted to our room and our luggage followed shortly after.

On entering the room we were very impressed. We had booked two family superior rooms even though there was only to be two in each room this was simply the only choice of room the tour operator had. We had a more than adequate bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a separate bedroom having two single beds and a double bedroom to the front leading to a good sized balcony overlooking the pool area. We also had a fresh chocolate cake to greet us in the room. However, do bear in mind that the drinks in the mini-bar are not included in the all-inclusive package.

Within the all inclusive package we were entitled at breakfast, lunch and evening meal in the main buffet, and also during the day there was a sncak bar at the pool side which we were able to use which was very nice together with a snack bar down on the beach in the Beach Hotel. We were able to use all of the bars within the CLUB but only the bar on the beach in the BEACH HOTEL.

The entertainment in this hotel has been slated in the reviews I have read. Yes its not a west end production but as you are sitting having a relaxing drink there were various singers in the background throughout the week and one night they had egyptian dancers which were entertaining. They also had two beach parties which were a change of scenery.

All of the food we have eaten on this holiday at both the buffet and the snack bars has been lovely. Although breakfast was a little repeatative it had a variety of choices hot and cold.

Honestly you just cannot please some people.

Just got back from staying at the Jaz Mirabel resort. There are 3 hotels Beach, Park and Club and to be perfectly honest they are all exactly the same it is just that the beach hotel is nearest to the beach. (funny that!) The club is where we stayed, it takes about 3 -5 mis to walk to the beach.
The staff were great, a tip here and there really helps but they are friendly enough without it. However if you tip you find everything waiting for you (ie glass of wine when you get your food, drinks by the pool)

Food was above average, I was a bit worried seeing some of the reports on here but it is absolutely fine. They always have an english dish for those of you who like plain food, the omelettes and waffles in the morning are superb, evening meal there is always pasta and sauce cooked with the ingredients you choose or several meat or vegetarian dishes to choose from- the various rice dishes are always great. The only thing I will say is that if you go to a dish and it is empty do not despair... walk away and grab some salad etc on your plate and go back to the dish and you will find it refilled and fresh!

The minibar is not part of the all inclusive package but we always hate local spirits anyway so took some gin, and then ordered tonic from the bar downsatairs and took it up to the room for an aperetif on the balcony. Do the same with the bottled water so that you don't get charged.

The excursions were organsied really well and we did scuba diving, quad biking in the desert and a flight down to luxor. All were good trips and provided excellent food and guides. Charges are in USD or egyptian pounds so work out what is more cost effective to take , even VISA payments etc will be charged as USD.

One last thing .... ask them Arabic words THEY LOVE IT! I came back with basic expressions but they were really happy that someone had made the effort- it is not as difficult as it seems.

Would recommend this place to any friends and family- thoroughly great place all round.

stayed in sol mirabel park in febuary with my wife and two young boys 4 and 2,there are three hotels , the park and the club 5 minutes walk from the beach and similar and quite quiet, the beach club is a bit larger and has more pools and a bit classier but is packed full, they all serve the same food and drinks and you can only use your own hotel for drinks and food except on the hotel beach which is shared, the staff at these bars dont like to do much and can be quite rude. The park pool bar is friendly and serves drinks, nice food like salads , pizza , burgers , sandwiches , and the main buffet is open for breakfast lunch and dinner with a great choice changing theme each day,if you cant find something to eat here you must be either very fussy or should have gone to blackpool or one of the naff hotels in naama bay .the lobby bar supplies bottled water for free all day and drinks without a smile, they dont seem to like kids but cater well for smokers and alchoholics, they have a show every evening which is amusing to watch,it is quicker to go to the bar yourself than to wait for one of the idiot waiters .the rooms are clean and well looked after and the hotel in general isspotless.there are some russians and europeans here who caused no problems to us and kept to themselves, when the bar shuts at 12 you would get a bit of noise and again when the club closed about 3 but this was generally peoplejust having a laugh.he pools are heated and the one for young kids is great and really warm, the slides are a great laugh and its all free, including the gym ect, massage is about £30.
i would stay again and for £400 each for 2 weeks its a bargain!!

Well. Me and my girlfriend spend really nice two weeks in Solymar Mirabel Club. First thing I have to say is that this place is not perfect choice for young couple (honeymoon e.g.). Our area of hotel were full of screaming kids and drunk Russia people and sometimes there were really crazy. Rest was really good. Swimming pool was always clean, food was delicious (bufet was brilliant, especially breakfast), drinks also (3 bars) and staff ok. Sometimes there were problems with language, but they are trying relly hard to learn english/german/russian. Regreattably the hotel beach is more than 800 metres far away and water here is really shoal for more than one kilometre. So not ideal for diving or swimming. Overal experience? It´s worth it.
