I booked a a King Size room with travelocity for Red Carpet Inn on New Years EVe and it was the worst celebration I could have. I paid over $180 for a junky room. The room had white powder in the AC/ heater unit. The towels were dirty. The linen had blood spots all over the place. The front desk employee was very unprofessional as he was wearing a baseball cap. Had on a t-shirt and sweats. Was very unofficial. When I asked him about the key deposit he said we had to pay no matter what. You have to pay a $5 key deposit for a card even if you paid with a creditcard. Oh did I tell you about how they make copies of your drivers lincense and keep it. The don't return the copy in the morning like other motels/hotels. I didn't at all feel safe leaving my identity with the guy with the cap at all. Out of a 5 scale I can give it a maximun .5. It is the crapiest motel ever. I would rather have paid $50 more and stayed at Ramada Inn or Red Roof Inn.
