I always stay in this hotel its clean, service is excellent, staff is polit and always willing to help. I try to stay there each time I go to AC. I recommend everyone to stay there.

“Great for a short stay”

Booked last minute on econolodge got a pretty good deal for a Friday night. Arrived just before midnight and was very well greeted. Room was nice, clean & simple. Had a nice microwave, fridge & coffee maker with 2 packs of coffee... didn't get to use them but is nice to have if staying for 2 nights or more. Free parking while staying, however, if you decide to hang around after checking out they only charge $9 for up to 8hrs, which we thought was definitely worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

“Good for the money”

Room clean, right next to the tropicana, steps away from board walk, FREE PARKING!!!!!!!!! If you are on a budget I strongly recommend this hotel. Continental breakfast very good since other hotels charges $20 for eggs/bacon/Juice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I definely stay here again.

Location: close to all the casinos on the boardwalk
Price: a bit pricy, but all the casino hotels are much higher
Area: no problem. we girls walked on the boardwalk at night and didn't see any drug dealers or hookers.
Room: clean. The heater was loud though.
Parking: no problem. no charge

If you are thinking to go to AC for a weekend and looking for budget hotels, this hotel is great. (Weekend price is not really cheap though.)

“Here's the bottom line on the place....”

First and foremost, it was ABOVE AVERAGE....for what I expected!

I went down with 13 guys for a bachelor party and the place was perfect. Location, Location, Location..... we are talking right next to the Tropicana, one block from the boardwalk. Is the surrounding area a lil shady? Of course, but where in AC isn't shady. I paid 113 through the hotel direct and the rooms were clean and fine. A little outdated, but fine. Free parking was awesome too.

Not only would I go back with the fellas, but I would stay there again with my fiancee. Why? Because its 100-150 at the Econo or 300-500 at the Trop.. The extra money can go to a nice dinner, gaming, or drinks!

It is said over and over again, but how much time do you really stay in your room?

One negative about the econo...there's a pawn shop attached to it! We though that was kind of funny actually. Maybe at the end of the night I could have pawned my gold chain for some money for a cheese steak and pint, lol.

Overall, Econo is a budget hotel in a great location. I would stay there again.
