I stayed in the Melia Lima for a whole week in Februray 2007. It is an excellent and well-maintained hotel. The rooms are very clean and rather spacious (at least by European standards). The bathrooms are great. A rich and varied breakfast menu awaits you in the morning with plenty of tropical fruit and fresh juices. The only drawbacks are the rather dull bar and the extremely small pool. Service throughout the hotel is attentive and fast. The hotel is in San Isidro with lots of fashionable restaurants within a short distance. (BTW, food in Lima is a real revelation. Try the national dish cebiche!)
