We were offered the harbour floor upgrade upon checking in but I believe you can do it in advance. It was about £30 per night for a couple. As well as the buffet breakfast in the lounge on the 20th floor, free cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the evenings there were other perks like free papers, fruit in the bedroom and free internet in the lounge.
Used the swimming pool and jacuzzi a couple of times which was on the 9th floor with tremendous views and although I didn't eat there the snacks looked superb.
Had a meal downstairs the first night. It was very busy and we were put out in the marquee. The air con was very effective, we were frozen but the food was good.
The free shuttle was very efficient and punctual.
The adjoining mall had a
little supermarket and a few restaurants.Lots of brides seem to visit for wedding photos. We saw 6 on the Friday afternoon. All sorts of wedding backgrounds, quite amazing.
The train station was next door to the hotel too.
It wasn't easy to walk anywhere from the hotel for a stroll after dinner,it took a few days to find our feet.
Our room had tremendous views although very small. Cases had to go under the bed. Had a desk and a fax machine.
Our friends two doors along had a kitchenette with sink, fridge freezer and a microwave.
All in all I would return for sure.
