For shopaholic, there's big mall beneath; for eat lovers, the hotel has gd food & beverage; for tourist, the MTR is downstairs; for businessman, it locates in the heart of business district.
It's my second stay for a weekend getaway. I like the bedroom for its two big celing-to-ground windows which offer a wide view of the city and sufficient sunlight to the room. Beds & pillows are of high quality. I like the nice little touches (no gd to be disclosed) of the hotel and staff of different levels are polite. It keeps reminding me of the quality of a 5-star hotel by conduct.
I cannot say some areas in the hotel and room looks very new, like the lobby and washroom, but there is no doubt they are clean & tidy. It is also surrounded by skycrappers while limited seaview is available in my room.
In fact, the advantages mentioned in the 1st paragraph are shared by what I regard the "3 little dragons" in the area: Marriot, The Island Shangrila & Conrad. I stayed in the Island Shangrila once and it makes me "wow". Having said that, after this second visit in the Marriot, I would call it "home"!
