Found the 2 double beds perfect for 2 kids and 2 adults--so many places in China (including HK) want to charge for the 4th person despite the fact that there's plenty of room. Clean rooms, superb showers, very easy to navigate both the hotel and the neighborhood, though we were frequently barraged with offers for tailoring and "copy watches." One complaint about service: staff was not helpful with regard to use of subway/trains, nor were they able to get us either connecting rooms or decent views.

It's a four star hotel but it's more like a three star in the US since the hotel room is quite old. However the service is outstanding. The gym is clean and modern and open from 5:30A to 11P. The pool is open from 7A to 7P as well.

It's very safe around that area and we went out for noodles at 3AM without any problems. We went on a couple of Gray Line tours which you can buy from the concierge in the lobby. They were all decent priced but be careful of their visits to jewelry factories / museums which are actually hidden sales demonstrations.

Buy an Octopus card so you can take their MTR (subway/metro) to bring you almost anywhere you want to go for very cheap. If you're going to China make sure you get a visa or go with a tour so that they can use their group tour visa to get you in.

The Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR train station is right across the street. We also took the A21 bus from/to the airport for $33HK.

Great location with 2 min walk to MTR.
Food, shopping , and Avenue of Stars are within walking distance.
Front desk service is excellent; check-in is breeze and we have been upgraded to next cat of room due to room not available.
We were on 7th floor, room size is adequate with new carpet and fittings. However, the hotel buffet breakfast is little bit expensive (HK180)
Overstay is enjoyable.

After countless hours finding a hotel that would accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, we settled with this hotel.

We booked a standard room with 2 double bed on their on-line website which I found had a better rate than anywhere.

We purchased Octopus cards at the airport, took the Airport Bus (A21) and basically dropped us in front of the hotel. The location was very convenient. It was nice to have the entrance to the TST in front of the hotel. Although, I think most hotels would also be convenient because the MTR stations are everywhere.

They tried to talk us into upgrading to a deluxe room for more $$$ but we declined and they still upgraded us anyway and I'm glad they did. The room was spacious and newly renovated. The bed was nice and firm but not hard as I thought it would be. The kids were happy that there were English cartoons on TV. They offer two complimentary water bottles in the bathroom (no need to buy one at the mini-bar) and complimentary shoe shine (look for the shoe bag in the closet). There was also a bathrobe and disposable slippers in the closet. The bathroom was very nice. They have a weighing scale, toothbrushes with mini toothpaste and the usual shampoo, lotion, shower gel, comb, razor and shaving cream. The only flaw that I can think of is that the hair dryer was a little dated and didn't have much power.

The people outside the hotel trying to sell 'copy watch', 'tailor-suit', 'copy purse' didn't bother us. They might be annoying but they're also trying to make a living. We went to Chungking Mansion a couple of doors down a few times and they have good rates on currency exchange. If you need to get your laundry done. Purity Laundry at the back of Chungking Mansion was really good. Wash and fold in less than 3 hours and was very clean and cheap. There's a 24-hour McDonalds right around the corner which was good when my son had the jet lag and was wide awake @ 3am. BTW, most stores doesn't open until 10am. We also checked out the pool on the roof, it was too cold to swim but was very nice.
