This is the third hotel we've stayed at near the crosswalk to Disneyland, and it was comparable to the others. Nothing fancy, but a good basic, clean place to sleep within very easy walking distance to the main gates. So much better than staying farther away and dealing with parking and shuttles! Our room had two queens in one room and another queen in a separate bedroom. It was comfortable for our family of six. There was a small fridge and microwave, and there were two tvs and free wifi. Our room was at the back of the property, on the second floor. This is very nice because it's quiet, but it does mean a longer walk to the street, and there is no elevator, so we had to lug all of our bags up the stairs. Also, there was no easy way to get our stroller up the stairs, so we had to empty out the basket and store it in the car every night, which was a pain, especially if it meant having to remove a sleeping child who otherwise would have continued to nap. For that reason alone, I would request a ground-floor room if we stayed there again.
The breakfast was quite good; of the three hotels we've stayed at, I think this breakfast was the best, with the Park Place Inn a close second, and the Desert Inn a distant third (which has a terrible breakfast and ugly rooms, but is spacious with good rates). The laundry room was convenient, although we ended up with unidentified black streaks on our white clothes; maybe someone left a crayon in the machine, or something. I don't know.
The beds are very hard. Even my kids, who usually can sleep anywhere, complained about their backs hurting. There were a few minor problems with the room: the plug in the tub didn't work, so the water wouldn't stay in the tub, which meant giving the young kids showers instead of baths. The stopper in the sink didn't work either. The air conditioning unit is in the wall by the bathroom, so the tile floor in there is ice cold all the time, even if the rest of the room is still too hot.
The pool was nice to have, although it is in the middle of the parking lot. It's planted around so there is some privacy and shade. It drops off quite suddenly, though, so there's not much of a shallow end for little kids, so be careful.
Overall, I'd stay here again if they gave me the best deal again. We are only in the room to sleep, so we don't require luxury accomodations. Softer beds would be nice, though!
