Business serviceStayed here four nights during our Disneyland vacation with husband and our 9 and 12 year olds. Good location in proximity to Disneyland and CA Adventure Parks. We went to the park at opening every morning and walked back for an afternoon break then back again at night, easy walk even with the kids. Many local restaurants within walking distance. Room was comfortable and micro and ref were nice to have. Parking is the issue at this hotel. If you don't need to drive anywhere once you are there, then you won't have a problem. There is a underground parking garage. Room was fine but noisy people next door and upstairs til all hours of the night kept us from sleeping the first and last nights. Called the front desk to complain with minimal results. Small indoor pool. Only one elevator for five floors, with some wait time. Would likely stay again though.

ServiceIts a nice hotel, great location to the Disney walkway.
They have a great deck to view the fireworks from
great for kids. The continentak breakfast is average, but they do have toast. The carpet was very clean in my room, they do need more space to put clothes not enough drawer space and no hangers. The parking unfortunately is horrible, not nearly enough and the underground parking is a bit scary at night.
But I would recomend this hotel.
Room was not ready when we got there. Had to change in the car in parking lot after driving there for last 6 hours and then hike to Disneyland! ! The location was bad. It LOOKS close to Disneyland on the map but if you are walking, its VERY invonvenient. You basically have to walk up to the corner, turn, then walk down quite a ways to the entrance, then even further into the gates. I was with my husband and my kids ages 7 and 13. We were too tired after walking all day to make the walk back and forth a couple times a day. We got the shuttle passes on the 2nd day which was even worse! Because of the location and the routes, it takes 15 minutes to get into Disneyland! It goes down the block AWAY from Disneyland, makes a u turn on a street, then back around past where you started to make a few pick ups. If you have the magic morning-early entrance- dont count on getting first in line. Just stay somewhere across the street from the entrance and save the trouble.Breakfast selection not great unless you pay for upgrades.

Check in / front deskMy husband and I had first stayed at this hotel in 2001. Everything was perfect for a Dland vacation because the hotel is located directly across the street from the entrance. For a couple with one car parking was great. The customer service was great, so was the breakfast. In 2003, our family reserved a "suite" to accomodate 2 families. We arrived around 5pm, after the 3 p.m. check-in time. When we were assigned our "suite", our doors were open & there were 3 loud, huge fans in our rooms. I asked the front desk why the doors to our rooms were left open and there were fans everywhere. They told us that the carpet had gotten wet somehow and they were trying to dry it out before we got there. Since it was hot, they were almost dry, and we were tired, so we kept the rooms. After unloading our transports, we were given only 1 parking space for a suite that accomodated 2 families with children (4 adults, a sr citizen, 4 children). The only other place we could park was at a lot for another hotel, 4 looooong blocks down the street...and had to pay by the day! We argued that we should have 2 parking spaces for each room, but it was one parking space per reservation. Whatever. The room was OK. Looked clean. Breakfast was just mini muffins, store-bought danishes and juice. No place to sit, so we brought it back to our room. After our 2 days, asked to reduce the price of the room b/c it was like the room wasn't ready. They said NO. We have not stayed there since. We book at Tropicana Inn now. Even when the rates go up there, they lower it to what we had the last time we stayed. So it has been the same rate no matter what time of year we go. And if there's no availability there, they direct us to the sister hotel just down the street. Sorry Desert Inn & Suites!
