Pretty loud hotel, lots of kids since it's near Disneyland. they run up and down the halls at all hours (6:30 am!!!). Breakfast is alright, could be much better. NO wireless internet in rooms as promised on their site, only in the lobby. You're supposed to be able to get an ethernet cable from the front desk, but it was never available. I was put on a waitlist on Monday, checked out Thursday morning, it still wasn't available! Room was nice, kind of small, but it did it's job. Not bad for the price.

“Better than expected”

We stayed for three nights in a king suite. It was the first smoking room I’ve ever experienced that didn’t smell like smoke. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It really seemed that if we’d had children, we could have some actual privacy due to the french doors and blackout curtains between the two rooms. The hotel was aware we were on our honeymoon and it seemed they actually made an effort to put us away from occupied rooms.

We had no issues finding parking and getting to and from Disney was easy. Our view was nothing spectacular since there was construction going on next door. The free breakfast was one of the better I’ve seen, and there’s a small patio off the breakfast room that allowed us to escape the kids.

“Could Have Been Better”

La Quinta Inn and Suites Anaheim/Disneyland

This property has a lot going for it: easily accessible, ample parking, walkable from Disney, hearty breakfast tacos. But the pool noise really ruined our room time: it's in an open garage which amplifies the screams and shrieks. The noise made the suite portion unusable for relaxation. So demand a room in the front or on the left side. Also, the hotel is somewhat worn and the staff isn't overly warm. Don't pay more than around $100 for this property.

“Disappointing”

We stayed for 8 nights to visit Disneyland. The first night our roof was leaking from the airconditioner and we had to move rooms late in the evening. The room we were put into had a plumbing problem and the carpet infront of the sink was drenched. Maintennence was fast but we were still left with wet carpet. On one of our nights we had a complaint that our 18month old and 3 year old were making too much noise. This noise was caused by walking on the floors. The floors were wooden on the upper levels and noise travelled. It was impossible to move around without causing a thud below. Staff were not very helpful. we asked for assistance to book transfers and was given a phone number that did not work. There were many more little things we were not happy with but at least th breakfast was good. However on Saturday when we used our early entry to Disneyland, breakfast was not available until 7am. We wanted to be at Disneyland at 7am. If you know the area well and don't need help and want budget accomodation this would be O.K. otherwise, look somewhere else. Next time we will pay the extra to stay right across the road from Disneyland to avoid wanting for the ART buses.

“worthwhile”

The room itsself was near perfect. Clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. We had the king sized bed w/ kids' suite, and it suited our family perfectly. Had little extras like ironing board/hair dryer, etc. The only things missing were small table for childrens' playthings, plus table to eat at/fix sandwiches, etc. Not quite as big as it appeared in photos. Also, in case you're wondering, no DVD player, although there are two separate TVs. In addition to French doors separating the kids' suite, there is a heavy curtain, which is helpful, but not pictured.

Pool - not so great -- too cold for kids to swim in. Everyone crowded in luke-warm hot tub. Plenty of towels, though.

Service -- be prepared to carry all your own luggage, find your own cart to do so. They certainly are friendly enough, and pleasant, but don't go out of their way for you. Housekeeping was fine.

I know the hotel has no control over this, but there is construction all around the hotel and it is very loud to be outside, and not visually pleasant at all.

Shuttle. was great.

Breakfast. just OK. Where oh where did my Starbucks go?

Overall, it was great. The things I complained about were not the things that were particularly important to us, I am just including them in case they matter to people reading the review. We would definitely go back!
