This is a very pleasant hotel on the old (i.e., pre-autovia) road between Tordesillas and Salamanca. The room was spacious, pleasantly old-fashioned, and very quiet. French doors opened onto a green space with a pleasant morning scene. The dining room served quite good food. Staff were very obliging -- and since we did not have a car (we travelled by bus, and used Tordesillas as a "base" to visit Salamance, Valledolid, and Medina del Campo) helped us with schedules. However, the hotel is about a couple of kilometres outside town -- a bit of a hike for those who don't like walking. Our only complaint -- a rather trivial one -- is that we were given a gift bottle of area wine, but were not allowed to drink it with our dinner. It was for taking home -- to Canada???
