Stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of August. The hotel is very centrally located, both for exploring the city on foot and by the excellent transport system. As the hotel supplies each guest with a free travel pass for the duration of their stay it works out convenient and cheap. The rooms were clean if not luxurious, but are good value for the price. If bedroom windows are left open there is some noise if you have a street facing room. Otherwise it is quiet with no noise from the adjacent train station. The reception is both curteous and helpful even though we were slighly boisterous Irish football supporters. The one area that could be improved is the fact that only one room key is supplied which can be awkward if people return at different times at night. This is something the hotel should recify. Otherwise everything else about the hotel was positive and Stuttgart is a lovely city both for shopping and touring.

This hotel had very sub-standard accomodations. The bed linens and towels were yellowed and stained. The T.V did not work properly. The volume on the T.V did not work so you could not turn it down. Very outdated and poor furniture. No proper emergency exits. Rooms that were hard to find. Very disappointed and would not recommend to any traveler.

I stayed there for one day in late September. I found the place to be very friendly and cheap. It's located on the corner of the central rail station building in downtown Stuttgart, which was great for getting around whether you were walking or taking the trains around town. They gave me an unlimited rail pass for the duration of my stay which came in handy. It was nice to come back at the end of the evening and be right at the hotel when you got out of the metro station.

The room itself was small, but not too small, and had a great big window that looked over one of the major streets in downtown stuttgart. Road noise was a little bit annoying but was fine. There was no rail noise at all in the room. The bathroom was sparse but clean and not unusual for a european hotel. Despite being a nonsmoking room, the room smelled of smoke but not blatantly so and after we aired it out the smell mostly went away.

If you want to spend a day or two in Stuttgart for under a hundred bucks this is a nice little place to do it.

We have stayed here many times (maybe 5). For those traveling by train it is perfect especially if an early departure out of Stuttgart because it is at the staion, but quiet because of the construction of the building. They often have a good senior rate or promo special. The breakfast is very good but doesn't always come with the rate. The best part is a card for free public transportation while you stay there. The U-bahn and S-bahn are just there by the entrance and the main pedestrian shopping street starts there, too.
