Great resort with excellent service. The staff is so friendly and helpful. All the restaurants are great. The spa is excellent.

The Four Seasons is the only resort on the island and there is not much to do there. Georgetown is about a half hour taxi ride but not really worth it as there is only two small shopping areas.

We absolutely love every Four Seasons we've ever stayed at -- with one notable exception. The Great Exuma, Bahamas property was a disappointment in several areas. The food was largely buffet and average at best.

While there were some wonderful staff members and managers, on the whole the staff didn't do a great job of anticipating guests' needs or being very attentive. This was particularly a problem during meals when we had to ask several times for condiments, drinks and the bill.

The location is on an island without much to do. But that's perfect for some people in today's over-built resort destinations.

The property itself is only about five years old -- but is showing some small signs of needing to be refreshed. The pool and beaches were beautiful. The weather was fantastic. If you can get a good rate ($400-$600/night), and enjoy quiet isolation, it might be worth a visit. But if you have enjoyed being spoiled by the Four Seasons in the past, I fear some aspects of this property will disappoint.

Simply spectacular! I have traveled the carribbean extensively and I have never seen an island with water as beautiful, crystal green and blue like EXUMA. The Four Seasons is one of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed in and we did not have to lift a finger from the time we arrived to the time we left. We booked a one bedroom suite and the bedding, furnishings, window treatments, room service all were without peer. The only suggestion we have would be to not expect too much in the casual lunch hour, but the dinners were just terriffic! We loved the Italian restaurant the best, and the service was simply splendid. Do, GO ON A DAY BOAT TOUR, of the island and fish, with Captain Lewless, and then to Chat and Chill. The beauty of the water and beaches will blow your mind!

We travelled to the Four Seasons Great Exuma for the Valentine's weekend this February for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of our vacation. The customer service is like no other...from the minute you step out of the airport! Our luggage was lost by AA and the hotel staff immediately took charge of finding our bags as well as stocking us with toiletries for the night.

Our room was upgraded to a junior suite and it was lovely. Well furnished, spotlessly clean and the bathroom was wonderful. We had a balconey overlooking the pool, the grounds and the beautiful ocean. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was a real plus.

We ate at all the restaurants and loved them all. The service in the restaurants is excellent and we really enjoyed the bar at Il Cielo. Honestly, if you want a relaxing few days away from the cold winter months of living in the north, the resort was the perfect get away.
