My wife and I went on a day-long tour with Acampa. Raymond met us in the morning (with homemade mango smoothies) and we headed south in his truck through the mountains to the south side of island. Raymond is a wonderful person - extremely friendly and willing to share his knowledge about Puerto Rico's history, nature, and opportunities. After a drive into the mountains, we arrived at La Finca (Raymond's rural cabin on a mountain in the jungle). At La Finca; we hiked, swam in waterfall pools, ate bananas from the trees, and enjoyed a brief rain shower. Leaving La Finca; we drove north trough the mountains, ate in a small town in the mountains, and toured some historical sights. In afternoon, we reached the north shore of Puerto Rico where we toured Cuevos Indios - limestone caves on the beach. Raymond showed us the ancient cave art and explained how the caves were used hundreds of years ago. When we arrrived back in San Juan before nightfall, we knew we had just experienced one of the best days of our lives.
