The Acacia Seaside Inn is a very beautiful Inn.The architecture and artwork is wonderful. Our room, the lobby, the hot tub,the sun deck, all were clean and well maintained.Felix, the front desk attendant at night was VERY helpful and VERY knowledgable of tours, restaurants, and the area.Lynnette, the day manager was also very helpful and courteous. Our room was excellent it had a balcony that we could see the ocean from (approx.200 feet from beach). There is a tall condo (maybe 10 stories) in between Acacia and the beach but it's no wider than Acacia so you can see the ocean on either side of the condo. Our room had a nice LCD tv with cable,A/C,ceiling fan,Queen bed, large dresser with plenty of drawers, two end tables with drawers, two table lamps and a telephone. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet, sink, and hair drier. All the floors and the shower are made of beautiful stone.I believe the lobby floor is polished granite.Their restaurant,The Niche is beautiful and has good food, but for breakfast I recommend Le-Petisserie (best pancakes). For lunch,Danny's International (great pizza and italian food). For dinner, either Ti-juana's or Cafe Del Angel. Also eat dinner before 7:30pm because most of the restaurants get full by 8:00pm.To get around San Juan I would recommend the city bus (75 cents exact change). For Old San Juan ride the trolly it's free or just walk.If you forget something from home there are a couple of Walgreens around. My only complaint is that on the tours they charge ALL that are going extra when they come to pick you up (example:$40 per person to the same place that's $160 for 4 people just for transportation). They should charge only $40 no matter how many they are picking up at the same location. The tours were great we went snorkling off the coast of Fajardo to the Spanish Virgin Islands.Another tour to the Rain Forest,Luquillo beach, and kayaking at Fajardo Bio Bay.Another tour was horseback riding at the beach in Rio Grand. We had a great time in Puerto Rico.Everyone was very friendly and a lot of people knew English and Spanish.
