I stayed here on a business trip as I work as a travel agent. I can't say how much I enjoyed my stay and didn't want to leave. The staff are so friendly (as they are anywhere in Jamaica), the food was terrific (the Japanses restaurant in particular should not be missed), the club was great fun for a dance as was the Regae Bar and having a plunge pool on the terrace was the icing on top. How we managed to get ten of us in and around the pool is still a mystery to me but we had such a good time. Twelve travel agents by day and party animals at night. The accom and resort had everything on hand and all we needed. Try out the lime daquiris, not only refreshing in the heat but lethal too. You must climb Dunn's River Falls, ride horses into the sea with Chukka Tours and swim with dolphins at Discovery cove. I will be going back again and would advise anyone to stay here. Ya Mon!! Irie Irie!!

HI, we have just returned (18 April to 25 April) from Breezes Runaway Bay and are already planning our next trip. Arrivals Lounge at MBJ was a welcome oasis, grab a Red Stripe and fill in your reservation card. On arrival at BRB room was assigned with no problems... our initial room was close to the buffet and stage, a bit noisy for us ( block 2), all it took was a phone call to reception & we were moved to block 1 with the minimal of fuss.

Rooms were great, newly renovated bathroom (shower had 6 nozzles and made for great showers!!!), new A/C, new TV.

We were both a bit apprehensive that BRB had lost its charm with the renovations (this was our third time back to BRB).... nothing could have been farther from the truth BRB was the idyllic resort we remembered. All the buildings & grounds are kept immaculate; service is without doubt is best I have received in any Caribbean all inclusive, bar staff kept the drinks rolling, and were always pleased when you asked them to make their favorite cocktail.

The staff were attentive & helpful… thanks Sandra, Crazy Chris, Verona and all the other staff whose names I cannot remember. Friendly does not come close to describing their attitude, staff would sit with you chat just like long time friends, ask if they can get you anything, was everything ok.

We had no problems getting a chair or lounger at the beach or pool, or seating at lunch dinner. The selection at the buffet was good, lots of fruit & vegs, and food at the Reggae Café was wonderful.

What can I say about the beach, soft sand, warm ocean gentle breeze ahhh a slice of Heaven

From check in to check out (as our flight left at 8:45 pm there were no issues extending our check out time ‘til 4 pm which meant more time on the beach & a final shower), we had an amazing time. Kudos to all the staff at BRB for making our stay memorable and we look forward to seeing you all again in the very near future.

Thanks guys for making our stay one to remember

“Went to have fun and we did!”

We arrived at BRB just in time for the Easter weekend. The resort was at capacity but it did not affect our trip. WE arrived Saturday morning, a tough red eye flight from LA, Air Jamaica flight was cramped and stuffy hot. Upon arrival at the hotel We went to the restaurant overlooking the ocean and had morning coffee and fell in love with the setting. It was perfect, unlimited coffee, eggs to order, fantastic.

Upon checkin we realized that our room was too close to the pool/activities and we were trying to sleep during the day. It wasn't happening. I found the resort problem solver, Sandra, and she quickly relocated us to a quieter section of the hotel. thank you!

We were travelling with our 17 year old daughter and stayed in the basic room. We were alittle cramped, but basically the room would be great for 2 people. The bedding needs to be replaced, not in terrible shape, but it should be done, getting alittle thin.

We went to BRB to have fun. It seemed that most people there during our stay felt the same way. I saw people of all ages, shapes and sizes having fun around the pool bar. It was hillarious to watch the games MC'd by Crazy Chris. He is an amazing dancer, and so are the other entertainment staff.

We really got a great laugh out of the SOKA competitiion. What a riot. I've never seen anything like that. It was great fun and memorable. We still talk about the people, guests and staff at BRB. Everyone was nice tried to accommodate us in every way.

We enjoyed diving with Ebi and George. They made the dive trips enjoyable and safe. We particularly remember the boat and plane wreck dive sites. True, it's not the south pacific, but enjoyable dives on nice coral reefs.

The food was fine, not stellar. We weren't looking for stellar food or accomodations. We were looking to have a fun time and we found it.

One aspect I didn't appreciate was the teenage guests acting inappropriately with each other at the disco. Too bad their parent's didn't peek in to see what they were doing. My daughter still had fun at the disco, thought it was a little lame, it was great for her. we will definately return.

We all still talk about our trip to BRB. My husband, who didn;t want to go to Jamaica ,again, still talks about Crazy Chris and just relaxing on the beach. It was a nice departure from our hectic lifestyle.

“25th anniversary”

A really super(b) accomodation; beautifully located, excellently maintained, super managed.
Already on our arrival we noticed that the Breezes Runaway Bay not only is determined to spoil their guests, but they also care for their personal. Consequently the staff is motivated, always friendly, and ready to meet all the guests requests and needs.
A small mistake in the booking - due to differences in the writing of dates in Europe and in Jamaica - was swiftly resolved by the reception - thanks Julien and Sandra. Sandra with her amazing memory for names and faces was determined to make us forget this little lapse and really took care that we enjoyed a wonderful time. Thank you for your efforts.
To make use of the club's enormous offer of activities certainly would have taken longer than our 2-weeks stay, so we concentrated on learning how to play golf and enjoyed and relaxed on the beach. Thanks to the golf team and the caddies.
Take your time and make some trips into the countryside, to learn more about Jamaica and its lovely people.
Overall rating: just great and recommendable in any way.
Many thanks to all the people and staff of the Breezes. You contributed to our well-feeling and made this trip unforgettable for us.

“Mom's 80th Birthday”

Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club

My name is Frances Clark, spouse of Dale Clark, and our family recently celebrated our mother's 80th birthday. With the help of a travel agent friend whom I visited the resort with 10 years ago, Bob Wagner set up this fantastic vacation and handled most of the families reservations. By the way, this whole event was a surprise for mom. The family came form the East coast ,West coast and mid-west and everything as far as accomodations and arrivals went so smoothly.
This celebration could not have been such a huge success had it not been for Sandra your concierge/guest relations manager. She made certain that our rooms were close in proximity to Mom and that her birthday dinner at Munason was spectacular. She arranged to have Scotisha Walters as our teppan chef, along with Bobo. Scotisha was fantastic, but we knew this since we had the pleasure of a prior night at the resturant and she was our chef for that evening. She and Sandra both presented our mother with a small gift in recognition of her special day. Mom said she would never forget them because of there warm and loving personalities.Everyone from the front desk to the people cleaning up the grounds made our mom feel like they were doing it just for her all week.
The resort has changed much since my husbands first vist to Jamaica-Jamaica and the new addtions fo the wing where the nude beach used to be is beautiful. The swim-up bar and infinity pool are awesome. those are new since my visit.
The one thing that has not changed is the service and the close attention that the staff pays to all the people vacationing there. When I was a travel agent I sold more Super Clubs vacations than any other and that includes Sandals!
The bar tenders at the swim-up bar, Kino, Karl, Arlene were wonderful and very friendly. It was so nice to run into staff, Wesley, Shorty, that have been there for over 15 years, a tribute to management. Dive master George and all of the water sports staff were equally fantastic, especially the young man who took our mother and her 74 year old cousin out on the hobie cat, can't remember his full name, but it started with an H.
Most of our dining was on the terrace and Merl & Janice are fantastic supervisor's. If you mention this to them please let them know it's the guy who looks like Kenny Rogers.
Ther are so many more that were exceptional with service, like the salon, Noreene, the entertainment coordinator, sorry can't remeber his name, he was short, very thin and reminded me of Chris Rock, must of been the diamond earing!
Again many thanks to Sandra and Scotisha along with all of the other staff for a wonderful vacation and a fantastic surprise birthday celebration. By the way, we already have more friends that will be visiting your resort in June. My husband and I, along with our adult children are now planning for a future visit to Breezes, hopefully 2010!
Sincerely,
Frances Clark
