My wife and I stayed at this place for 2 miserable nights. The hotel is at the end of street with several closed hotels, and I imagine that this one won't be open much longer. There were very few guests, who huddled together to avoid harrassment by the locals who were aggressively persistant.
The beach across the street had eroded away, so there was only a couple of corners of sand left. Sitting on the beach meant saying "No thank you" every 2 min as someone tried to sell you drugs or braid your hair. I went into the water, and a min later, some creepy dude trying to give my wife an "Aloe Massage", which meant he had a broken plant leaf and was spreading goo on her, ignoring her protests.
The room was dirty and small, and there was a gaping hole in the celing over the shower. The ocean view consisted of powerlines. The restaurant downstairs was decent, serving tasty local food, but at night they tried to turn it into a "club". This meant that from dusk to after 3am music was blaring through bad speakers for the bartender and 2 wasted individuals passed out in the corner.
Overall, by far the worst experience I have had in the Carribean of the 10 islands I have been to so far...
