This is the first time I spent in Tokyo, Japan. I traveled for business. The staff all spoke English fluently and was so willing to help. A smile was on everyone's faces. From what people told me, I expected tiny rooms. Contrary... The room was a very good size and had a very luxurious feel to the room. You can usually tell how nice the place is by the bathroom. The bathroom was covered with marble. The shower was so inviting. The toilet was so high tech. After my stay, I wondered how I can take the toilet home with me. The window coverings were remote controlled. The room was so quiet. Everything was as perfect as a hotel room can be. The only negative that I could come up with is that hotel did not have a top sheet. Being someone who is a bit wary of hotel germs, I wonder why hotels are starting to do this more and more. I doubt the duvet covers ever get washed, therefore how many people have used the blanket before I slept in that bed? As I spent more time in Tokyo, I learned that most people do NOT speak English...so I really appreciate the staff that was so welcoming and so fluent in English. The other drawback was that the room was a bit pricey...but I imagine that is what you would expect at such a luxurious hotel.
