Location: Very convenient to getting around, even though it is in the newly developed area on Tokyo Bay-- Adjacent to Yurikamome Monorail, Daiba Station -- Y310 to get to Shimbashi Station and connect to major lines (e.g., get the Yokohama, Kamakura, etc.) or an easy walk to Ginza. There is also the Suidobasu (river boat) at Hinode Pier, several stops from Daiba, where you can take the "waterbus" to Asakusa Pier and walk to Kaminarimon/Asakusa Temple. Lots of places to eat within in 2-5 minutes walk from the hotel (Aqua City, with shops and places to eat), McDonalds, Starbucks, sushi, noodles, etc.
Comfort: Very comfortable -- rooms have views of the water, Tokyo skyline, well appointed, super clean, deep and long bath tub, robes and pajamas which are provided daily, toiletries amply replenished. Stock your own water, snacks as the mini bar items are pricey. At Shimbashi Station there is a great grocer where you can purchase just about everything (produce, drinks, bento, bakery items and prepared bentos) to bring back to your room should you wish.
Although you can get to Asakusa by train, the water bus on a clear day is a great way to take in the city. Although we took a cab from Haneda (about 20 minutes to the hotel Y4500 or so), there is an airport bus from there as well as the Narita Airport bus y2700 which leaves directly from the hotel (and the hotel staff are terrific about keeping your bags and getting it on the airport bus).
Overall, a beautiful setting (so many weddings on the weekend) for a moderate price (do spring for the differential for the water view room as it is worth it), a lovely central staircase in the lobby, a fish tank, service was very courteous, use of the business center, i.e., the computers and internet access was without charge . . . and they kept me posted on the game 4 Red Sox win!!!
