Hello;

Thanks in advance - I have read the reviews and thoughts on restaurants for romantic dinners. Looks like Vertigo will be a good choice - IF IT'S NOT RAINING. Weather is very iffy tonight - Where should I take my wife for our 20th, if it is raining? Looking for Thai or Asian fusion, would really like to impress her, she has excellent taste, and while not picky, I would really like her to have the best 20th anniversary dinner ever. Price is not the issue, quality and ambience is.

Hello, Glenn;

We had torrential rain, but went to Pier 59, (right below vertigo), which was very enjoyable. Food was excellent and we got the (near fawning) experience you hope for when on your anniversary dinner. Very expensive meal, even for US standards, but well worth it.

Glad you had a night to remember :-)

I might have to do the same myself - Im there early august for our wedding anniversary and have Vertigo booked , was virtigo closed because of the rain ? or did you just have a rethink ? Hopefully its not raining but at least we now have another option- any info on pier 59
