If you have a private message to Darkbeer, why are you posting it in a public forum?

It may be that higgy doesn't know about the private message function, so let's politely mention it rather than criticizing.

To send a member a private message you can search for a posting they have done by putting in the member's name in the search function that is above the list of posting. Then click on that posting and click on their name. Then when you see their profile click send member message. There may be a simplier way to get there, but that's what I usually do.

FromTheBu,

I see MANY people writing posts adressed to darkbeer, and others join in the post and help/reply so the information is there for the public.

Your tone came off as a little harsh in my opinion- Redlands, as always, has been helpful and polite :)

Thanks for that link Darkbeer- some great photos of Disneyland.

Slightly off topic (sorry) but there was a pic of a cat filed under your Disneyland pics end of June?! Tell me this cat wasnt a stray wandering around Disneyland....it looked way to healthy for that.

Yes, I know- silly question... please be kind Chuck (BlackBelt4Dan) if you are reading this!

There are families of cats living at Disneyland - they were initially brought in to keep the rodent population down at the park and still live there to this day.

The photo of the cat was a cat that lives at Disney's California Adventure near the Taste Pilots Grill Restaurant.

Disney actually places Cat Houses around their parks (One well known location is near the Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country) as they help keep down the Rodents.

I have seen plenty of Cats, Mice (the real ones, not the Characters..) and even Bats in the parks.

I tend to bring both Cherrios for the Ducks (Whole Grain Goodness) and cat food to the parks on a regular basis. (and it helps in getting some good photos... ;)
